dear reader, who are you?
apparently i get like 10 thousand hits a month (about 4 thousand unique), and that seems like a lot… i imagine much of that is cause i talk about music and movies so much… and cause i link to mp3s a lot, sometimes hosting them myself. so people aren’t coming to read my brilliant prose, i realize that. but there might be random people reading this, not just friends and estranged family? most of my hits come from the states, and i only know of one actual reader (hey broseph, how’s the new job?)
so i implore you, dear reader, to leave a comment if i don’t know who you are. normally, requests such as these don’t get much response, so i’m hoping for at least one anonymous person to say ‘yes i’m a reader and no you don’t know me’

Dear Andrew,
You were my MIT soph in ‘05. I don’t quite remember how I stumbled upon your blog, but I have it bookmarked and check for updates every so often. I don’t have a blog myself, but you can check out my sister’s at http://sarahmarchildon.blogspot.com . You won’t be disappointed.
Sincerely,
Hilary

Hi Andrew… You don’t know me, I stumbled over your blog (probably searching for mp3s) a year or so ago and got hooked on your style of writing. I bookmarked, and check in every now and then.
Keep up the good work :)

hey, i added a pic of some low-light stairs i took the other day. on my photo-site though. its not perfect, but its in focus. maybe. maybe its a bit sub par though. either way, it just upped the iso to 800 and took a few with the multiple shot feature to eliminate hand shake error…
…ill keep ya posted though, if you do the same.

Hi Andrew, you don’t know me, i stumbled upon your site while looking for places in peru. My daughter is an archaeologist from lexington, ky (US) and she has just landed in Peru alone. I am looking for pictures and comments from people who have actually been there. in traveling i have always found a little research goes a long way. Travel tours don’t always tell you what you want to know. I want to know what it is REALLY like in Pperu. How safe it is? I am considering going there to do some volunteer work in 2009. I think your adventures are sooooooooooo interesting and i couldn’t stop reading. Those andean mountains look like a wonderful place to ski. i usually go to Pergatory in Colorado. Hope you don’t mind i stalked a little. Have a nice day!
