Outreach Assistant – 2009
Contemporary Art Gallery – Vancouver, BC

  • Developed educational contact database and outreach strategy, including social media and Web 2.0.
  • Designed promotional material, copy-edited publications, assisted curatorial work, photographed artwork and events, performed administrative duties.
  • Spear-headed collaborative project called DAFFT (Dance Art Film Field Trip), which brings school children on a tour of three art facilities: organized diverse team, developed strategy, designed promotion.

  • Served food and interacted with homeless youth; produced a documentary short, Just Kids: Homeless Youth in Canada, which competed in multiple film festivals across the country.
