As coordinator of the Digital Humanities Working Group @ UCLA, I helped organize Inertia: A Conference on Sound, Media, and the Digital Humanities, which consisted of 3 days of insightful papers, panels, and performances, as well as some stellar keynotes by Jonathan Sterne and Kiri Miller. I put together a panel entitled “Digital Licensing in the Political Economy of Music” and gave a paper on the financialization of the music industry. Keep an eye on inertiaconference.com to join us next year!
